Day Trips

In February, we were able to take a couple of fun Day Trips. The first one was to Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls. It is amazing. The Snake River cuts through a huge canyon and there are amazing water falls. We are going back in a few weeks, because it is supposed to be an even better show in the Spring.

The second Day Trip was to the Hagerman Fossil Beds...Don't let them fool you, though, we never made it to the real Fossil Beds, but saw a lot of neat things along the way. We played at the Visitor Center digging for fossils, we followed the blue fish path around the Fish Hatchery, and we followed a tiny piece of the Oregon Trail, marked by the wagon wheel ruts in the ground. It was freezing, but what a fun, adventureous day!
