Our 1800-Mile Road Trip

We recently made a couple of trips to Utah to visit Grandma Rue whose health had been failing her. What a cherished visit it was! Grandma was able to see the boys and meet little Lissy, and we were able to say "Good-bye." It was hard to see her in that condition, but she still had a little spunk left in her! Grandma passed away on September 25. We will sure miss that sweet gal!

During our long road trips we did get to do a lot of fun things...

Like visiting Nanny and Poppy...

Climbing in their apricot tree...

Going camping in Nanny's 'Cabin'...

And, riding with Dad on Poppy's Quad...

We also...

...Went to Uncle Bryan's ITT Graduation. Way to go, Bryan!!

...Ate at Big J's!! YUM!!!

...Drove by the old Smithfield place. Charlie Brown is HUGE!

...Took Wyatt to the ER for a near-catastrophic accident that turned out to be just a cool story that Wyatt could tell his friends! Thank goodness, because Mom wouldn't have made it.

...Stayed in the cutest little cabins in Star Valley, WY.

...And, saw Autumn Blaze. The trees were beautiful! I have no photos of it, but we now know what Autumn Blaze looks like!

We didn't get to visit any of our good old friends. There is never enough time to do it all.

We are grateful for family, friends, and gospel knowledge of life after death.
