Easter and Eggs

Easter was a lot of fun this year. We tried to teach the kids the reason for celebrating Easter...Spring, rebirth, starting anew; and the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Alyssa thought that painting the eggs was about the greatest thing ever!!! It is so fun to see things for the first time just like this cute little girl!

The Easter Bunny likes to come to our house on Saturday instead of Sunday...There is just too much excitement to have to throw in a Get-Ready-For-Church-NOW! fight. So, the kids woke up on Saturday morning to a house full of plastic easter eggs and goodies in their baskets!

She was on a short kick where Blue was her favorite color...Now it is the color that she happens to see first!
